About the Domain

Uncharted-sky.ORG is a fanlisting collective run by Kupo. I bought the domain in 2017 with the intention of turning into a fanlisting collective, but I didn't officially open the site until August 2020. This domain houses fanlistings approved by both The Fanlistings and The Anime Fanlistings, as well as cliques from anime / video games, so you'll find a good variety of subjects here once I'm able to start getting them open!

The domain's name, Uncharted Sky, comes from my obsession with space, astronomy & Star Trek! There is still so much we don't know about the billions of galaxies, and I often daydream what it would be like to go and explore those uncharted areas of space! This collective has gone through a lot of names over the many different domains I've owned through the years, but I think Uncharted Sky is going to stay as its permanent home! ❤

About the Layout

You're viewing version two of uncharted-sky.org, titled "It's Our Time to Shine". It features Ninny Spangcole, Noel Niihashi, Balgo Parks & Osushi from BURN THE WITCH. This design was an attempt to utilize more shapes, animations and colors I don't normally use when designing a layout. When I saw the images of the characters, I knew exactly how I wanted this layout to look. I was excited to try adding animations to this design, and adding the subtle floating of the characters, gentle swaying in the waves and particle effects floating upwards gives it so much motion, without being overwhelming! Additionally, I think the light pastel colors really adds to the calm vibe that I was trying to achieve with this design! ( o´ ︶ `o )

The layout utilizes Bootstrap v5.3.3. It was designed in Adobe Photoshop 2023 and fully hand-coded in Sublime Text 4. The design was tested on a 1920x1080 resolution in Firefox, Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge. It has not been fully optimized for mobile, I'll be slowly working on that over time. The fonts used for this design are Losta Masta, Noto Serif Display, Bricolage Grotesque & Grandstander, as well as Iconsax + Phosphor for the icon fonts. The swaying waves are generated using a waves generator created by Jhey, and the particles are created using tsParticles. Uncharted-sky.ORG is run on Erin's Version of Listing Admin.
